SBLF is a registered non-profit organization specializing in youth empowerment, leadership and providing the tools necessary for success. We focus on strengthening, teaching and assisting. An organization designed to give back, amplify small businesses, organizations & causes geared to helping young people.
SB Lucas Foundation was founded in 2020 by Spencer T. Lucas Jr. and Brittany Lucas
and is a subsidiary of SB Lucas Trucking. SB Lucas Trucking is a Black-owned trucking company specifying in US freight transportation. If you see us on the road (look for the Lucas Owl), wave & we’ll honk!
Our goal is to focus on overcoming the social norms and injustice within our community.
We strive to globalize a system where helping and encouraging each other is the new norm. Ultimately, we plan to eventually grow this foundation into a center that will provide life-changing programs, opportunities & resource support with the objective of proper preparation.
The overall goal is to promote Black Excellence, self-actualization and create a positive impact for the youth and community.
This foundation started due to our enthusiasm and concern for kids and the realization that knowledge of self, mastering self and abilities lead to endless possibilities. The youth will ultimately be the ones to shape the world and WE want to help build confident, prepared, knowledgeable individuals.
SBLF is based in Atlanta, Georgia but we have made it our goal not only to help local nonprofits but also to give back on a global scale and partner with organizations geared to bettering young people.
We currently self-fund with the proceeds from the merchandise sold from our trucking company & foundation. The concept that we embody is that while people support us, whether in trucking or through the foundation they are really supporting others in need. We do not post everything as many organizations have strict confidentiality policies but overall we are learning, supporting & networking as we go. Explore this journey with US.
